Purpose: The authors set two main goals to analyze the significance level and difficulty of obtaining particular types employee competencies and, on this basis, build a two-dimensional perception map. In addition conduct segmentation analysis surveyed entities according their demand profile for critical competencies, characterised by high obtaining. Design/Methodology/Approach: research was conducted among 381 managers companies operating in Eastern Poland. evaluation concerned employees’ terms market. obtained results were used develop map identify subsequently as enterprise criteria. Finally, clusters process analysed number differentiating variables. Findings: As result research, describing enabling designation 4 groups called authors, ‘inconvenient’, ‘secondary’, ‘must have’ ‘critical’. group includes 3 constructs, each from personal professional competencies.
